We work with both established tour operators and businesses who need to get around the African continent, as well charities, groups and individuals that want to explore. With over 80 years combined experience in the Overland industry, we have seen and learnt a lot. Whether you are planning a multi-country expedition or something smaller, we have the knowledge, experience, vehicles and crew to ensure you can experience the very best that Africa has to offer.
Expedition Vehicle Hire / Charters / Group Travel
Baobab Adventure operate a fleet of rugged overland expedition vehicles that were designed by us to our own exacting standards. We have been steadily refining the design over many years to ensure they get you to where you want to go safely and with the minimal of fuss while experiencing the wonders that Africa has to offer. We have been running expeditions and tours for 25+ years and with our contacts across the continent, we are uniquely placed to ensure your African adventure is all that it can be. If cycling is your thing, we also have a fleet of mountain bikes as we have supported multiple cycling tours through Namibia, Botswana, Zambia and Zimbabwe. Vehicle hire includes full use of the truck; all vehicle border fees and fuel and the services of 2 very experienced crew. Expedition vehicle hire starts from $800us per day.

Are you planning your own adventure across Africa? With our years of experience of operating across this vast continent and our team on the ground, we are ideally placed to offer advice and guidance to ensure your adventure is one to remember. We can offer advice on destinations and routes, border protocols and specific country requirements, necessary paperwork, insurance, spares, shipping, vehicle storage and a whole lot more.
